Gorran Haven  beach and "The Lost Gardens of Heligan" are only three miles from each other. They are the second most visited garden in England next to "The R.H.S, Although it may be said that the best time to visit these gardens are in the Spring. We have visited them many times throughout the year and find them pleasing.  With several beaches close to Gorran Haven, you are spoilt for choice. The beach at Gorran Haven is safe and clean to swim with clear sparkling water.  Gorran Haven has a small harbour for boating and may used if you have a boat. If you would like a little walk then Vault beach or Bow beach has silvery sand and is almost one and quarter miles long .

You are able to visit other gardens within the County of Cornwall such as Caerhays Castle, Treba, Lanhydrock, Trelissick & Trerice Gardens.

Just two miles away is the picturesque village of Mevagissey where you are able to buy fresh fish daily. and enjoy the ambience of a village and harbour that has change very little over the years. Narrow streets and old fishermen's cottages.

I have also been fortunate to have other people who are doing research on their families Trees to supply me with their Records which have been included on this site. If you have any records that you think could be useful to other fellow members doing research, and would like them to be added to this site please click here . The site contains records for Births, Marriages, Deaths, Baptisms, Landowners and much more. I should like to thank all the work done by researchers for providing their time
