 CAERHAYS CASTLE

"A wonderful castle in a perfect setting" - a visitor from London expresses his admiration in simple words. To a child this must be an enchanting fairy tale castle "come true". On the rare occasions when the public is invited to visit the gardens to see and enjoy the beauty of the many flowering trees and shrubs, thousands of people make the journey there from the far towns and villages of Cornwall and Devon.

Over the years the Williams family enthusiasts have travelled the world to find, bring to Caerhays and acclimatize exotic azaleas, rhododendrons, magnolias and many more beautiful flowering trees to enhance the background of their magnificent home.

The Port Luney cove with its large sheltered beach forms a fitting foreground, which is visited, loved and thoroughly enjoyed by many thousands of holiday-makers every year.
