The coal ship visited Mevagissey to unload coal to the suppliers who then distributed it to the houses. The Delivery of coal took place all over Cornwall up to about 1942 |

Up untill this time the main road out of Mevagissey was by going up School Hill quite a steep hill and busses would have to ask all passengers to get off and walk to the top of the hill before getting on again |
